CONUCO was founded in 2026, and it is an expansion of work that is already proven. It brings together two things The Bahamas hasn't had in one place: a decade of hands-on Bahamian experience in the systems that matter, and field-tested technology from its sister company, Avid Solutions International. The conviction behind it is simple — the technology that could transform Bahamian food security, water resilience, and coastal health already exists; it just hasn't reached the people who need it most.

That experience belongs to founder Rashayne Rahming. She saw the gap firsthand at the Ministry of Agriculture & Marine Resources, where as an Economic Planning Officer she led agricultural policy development, ran socio-economic impact assessments that shaped national climate-resilience strategies, and helped direct grant and cooperative programs that strengthened farmer networks across the islands.

Her public-service career spans more than a decade. At the Ministry of Health & Wellness she directed national infectious-disease surveillance, building data-integration models aligned to WHO and PAHO standards. Earlier roles across the Department of Public Health and the Registrar General saw her digitize vital-records systems, redesign clinic supply chains for the Family Islands, and modernize frontline service delivery — work that taught her how to move real systems forward in a Bahamian context.

She carried that rigor into the private sector. As an Enterprise Solutions project manager at Deltec Bank & Trust she led digital-transformation initiatives that cut manual reporting by 30% and lifted compliance accuracy by 70%; at Ernst & Young she designed ESG-aligned risk frameworks for regional clients; and at Cable Bahamas she managed consumer product portfolios from ideation to launch. Across banking, consulting, and telecom, the throughline was the same — turning complex insight into scalable, measurable improvement.

That blend — agriculture and marine policy, public-health data, enterprise delivery, and ESG strategy, sharpened by an MSc in Food Security and a BBA in Economics & Finance — is the foundation CONUCO is built on. Today, the new company brings that expertise together with proven technology from Avid Solutions International as a focused venture — to deliver results where they matter: on farms, along shorelines, and in small businesses across The Bahamas.
